Original Breakfast

We offer a daily changing breakfast menu made with fresh ingredients sourced directly from local farmers, as well as homemade miso and eggs. Each day, we serve only one type of breakfast, either Japanese or Western. Breakfast is available from 7:30 AM to 8:30 AM.

Dinner & meal delivery

At Gurugulu, skip the shopping hassle and enjoy your stay with our locally sourced dinners and food delivery service. For reservations, just let our staff know the number of guests and preferred dates. Be mindful that our diverse dishes may not be suitable for severe food allergies.

Hot pot dinner with locally harvested mushroom

Hokkaido, with its European-like vegetation, is a haven for wild mushrooms. Join us for a special hot pot experience featuring an abundance of wild mushrooms collected in the Niseko region from summer to fall, locally sourced vegetables, and regional meats. Paired with freshly harvested white rice from our hometown, this exclusive menu showcases a unique and locally inspired culinary delight that you won’t find anywhere else.

※Due to the unpredictable supply of wild mushrooms, we may not be able to offer this dish. For customers who are not fond of mushrooms, we also provide a hot pot without mushrooms.

Surprisingly, Niseko is close to the sea, and the seafood here is fresh and delicious. We’ve partnered with a locally renowned sushi joint to prepare a special sushi delivery just for Gurugulu. Indulge in the fresh seafood that Hokkaido locals love!

Creamy Mushroom Pasta Set with Mushrooms from Gurugulu’s Forest

A creamy pasta dish made with rare, wild mushrooms harvested from the forest around here offering a unique flavor you won’t find anywhere else. Enjoy the rich taste of the creamy sauce perfectly blended with the earthy aroma of wild mushrooms. Pairs wonderfully with wine or beer, making it a satisfying and indulgent dish.

A classic home-cooked favorite! Curry rice.

When you find yourself in a pinch for a meal, rely on us. We’ll prepare curry rice using locally sourced ingredients at Gurugulu. It’s a simple dish, but Gurugulu’s curry rice is sure to warm both your heart and body. Give it a try!

Drink & Snacks

We offer a self-service selection of wine and snacks.

At the open space, we have a variety of wines and snacks available. For safety, we provide polycarbonate cups, but if you prefer, we can also lend you wine glasses upon request.

Massage Service

Tae, a host with a Thai government-certified Basic Therapist qualification offers massage services in the common space. This service is available for guests aged 18 and older. Please let our staff know your preferred date and time, or send us a message. Kindly note that arranging external massage therapists at our facility is not permitted.

Thai massage combines acupressure and stretching tailored to your body’s condition, providing a thorough and relaxing experience. It’s perfect for unwinding after a long flight or a day of snow sports.

Please note that on days when dinner service is scheduled, massage services may not be available due to preparation time. Thank you for your understanding.

Winter Experience Menu

Satoru, a host with a Hokkaido Governor-certified nature guide qualification offers original experience programs set in the beautiful forests at the foot of Mt. Yotei. Discover a side of Niseko that’s entirely different from the ski resorts. Please contact the host to make a reservation.

Snowshoe Hike

Mini Experience Tour (Approx. 1 hour): Adults 6,000 yen, Children (6–12 years) 3,500 yen

Mt. Yotei Spring Water Exploration Tour (Approx. 90 minutes): 9,000 yen (Ages 13 and older)

Reservations required by 5:00 PM the day before. A minimum of 3 participants is needed for the tour to proceed.

Explore the surrounding beautiful forests and streams on snowshoes, visiting the spring water source connected to Gurugulu’s water system and discovering secret scenic spots. This original course is beginner-friendly and offers a variety of terrains for a memorable experience.

Snow Rambler Hike

Mt. Yotei Forest and Scenic View Tour (Approx. 90–120 minutes): 12,000 yen per person (Ages 13 and older)

Maximum capacity: 3 participants
Minimum of 2 participants required for the tour to proceed

  

This activity is recommended for intermediate skiers and above. Using the unique “Snow Rambler,” a tool unlike skis or snowshoes, you can walk freely on snowy slopes, explore the forests of Mt. Yotei, and head toward breathtaking scenic points. Your host will guide you through a secret course they enjoy personally.

House rule

*Trash collection & towel change

Collection of trash bin and towel change are daily. We won’t enter the guest space if used towels and trash would be left at the front door by 10:00am. Please tell us or hang the “Don’t Disturb” sign on the doorknob if you don’t need them.

Cleaning & Bed Linen Change

Every after 3 nights, we clean toilets, shower room, each floor simply, and change the bed linens. In case you need them more often or you don’t need them, let us know or hang the doorknob sign. We don’t clean the kitchen top or tableware.

*Washing machine & drying room

W is in the 2nd floor bedroom. There is no dryer, but there is a drying room (shared by the host) where you can put your laundry and ski boots, so please ask the host if you need it.

* Guest Kitchen on the first floor  

Feel free to use all kitchen tools, cutleries, and dishes. We don’t clean the kitchen top or tableware.

Kitchen stoves uses gas cartridges. If it runs out the gas, let us know.

Please make sure to turn off the stove when leaving Kitchen.

Don’t drain and dispose oil and kitchen scraps.

* Tap Water

Tap water is natural spring water from Mt.Yotei. It’s drinkable.

* Open Space on the second floor 

Free Coffee is available. Other people may come and go during business meetings between the host and vendors. Please be careful not to leave valuables or personal belongings behind.

Take your room key with you.

The host may be temporarily out due to shopping, etc.
